| Q. | How do I place an order? |
| A. | You are welcome to use our online ordering system, or if you feel more comfortable, feel free to call 1.800.500.0403 so one of our professional customer service representatives can take your order over the phone. |
| Q. | How big are your stretcher bars? |
| A. | We use premium 1.5" x .75" thick pine stretcher bars with corner braces to ensure perfect right angles every time. |
| Q. | Do you offer custom framing? |
| A. | We offer gallery wrap and museum wrap finishing, but at this time we do not offer custom framing. Most of our customers hang the finished piece without a frame. |
| Q. | Will you retouch or adjust my photo for me? |
| A. | With all of our photos we offer complimentary minor adjustments such as adjusting the color balance, sharpening, and contrast. If you would like us to provide more advanced retouching services such as removing red eye, getting rid of scratches, removing a background, or color replacement, we charge $60 for most photos. Please email artwork@printing4memories.com for a custom quote. |
| Q. | What if I want my photo printed in B&W? |
| A. | Not a problem. We are happy to convert your color photo to B&W at no additional charge. |
| Q. | What if I want my photo printed across multiple panels - "Matrix Canvas Prints"? |
| A. | We are happy to help with this. If you have a nice landscape photo and would like to print it across multiple canvas panels, please let us know how many panels and what matrix you would like to use (example: 1x2, 2x2, 1x3, etc…). We will send you a proof prior to production. |
| Q. | Will I receive a proof prior to production? |
| A. | Yes, we send complimentary proofs for all orders. |
| Q. | What type of file should I send and where should I send it? |
| A. | We can only print from high resolution .jpg or .tif files. As a general rule… if you have a modern digital camera and have your settings set to "high" or "max quality", your photo should work just fine. If you copied your photo from the web, chances are your photo will print blurry or pixilated. When we send your proof, we will let you know if your file won't work. Please email all photos to artwork@printing4memories.com. |
| Q. | Can I send you a printed photo to scan? |
| A. | Unfortunately we don't offer scanning services. Please send us your scanned photo as a 300dpi .jpg or .tif. |
| Q. | Will my photo work with the canvas size I selected? |
| A. | Most photos will work, but sometimes your photo won't scale proportionately to the desired canvas size. If this is the case, we will make suggestions when we send your proof. We may need to crop your photo or print it as a "Museum Wrap" with a colored border instead of a "Gallery Wrapped" canvas. |
| Q. | Copyrighted images? |
| A. | This is a tricky one. Bottom line… you know if you took the photo or if you purchased it. If you copied it from the web, received it as a "proof" from a professional photographer, or if you scanned someone else's photo, chances are you don't have the right to reproduce it. Here is a link to some copyright info:

| Q. | Is rush production available? |
| A. | Our standard production time is 3-4 business days. Rush service is not available. |
| Q. | What if I'm not happy with my print? |
| A. | Please re-package the print in the original box and ship back to 7342 S. Alton Way, Suite 7E, Centennial, CO 80112, so we can process your re-print or refund. |
| Q. | Can an old photo be touched up before transferring to a poster, banner or canvas? |
| A. | Yes! Our professional graphic designers are able to provide more advanced retouching services such as removing red eye, getting rid of scratches, removing a background, or color replacement, we charge $60 for most photos. Please email artwork@printing4memories.com for a custom quote. |
| Q. | What is trimmed and rolled canvas? |
| A. | We print your image on canvas, trim it, then roll it for shipping. |
| Q. | What is the difference between "Gallery Wrap" and "Museum Wrap"? |
| A. | A "Gallery Wrapped Canvas" wraps your photo around the edges of the stretcher bars so you see the image on the face and sides of the frame. For most photos, a "Gallery Wrap" is your best option. A "Museum Wrap" uses your photo on the front of the frame and we print a solid color for the edges. You are welcome to choose the color or ask us to match a color from your photo. Some photos aren't big enough or proportioned for a "Gallery Wrap" so a "Museum Wrap" would be the better choice. We are happy to help you through this process. Click here to see an example: Museum Wrap Example vs Gallery Wrap Example. |
